HOW DOES PRE-ORDER WORK?
The form reserves one numbered coat of an edition of thirty per model. We reply within 48 hours. A 50% deposit confirms your number; it is refundable until sewing starts. The balance is due before shipping.
WHEN WILL MY COAT ARRIVE?
Each coat is sewn in Tbilisi, then checked and numbered by hand in Paris. It ships from Paris in 6–8 weeks. Within the EU there are no customs duties.
HOW DO I CHOOSE A SIZE?
The kimono form holds its own shape, so fit is more forgiving than tailoring. Each model page carries a fit note and a measurements table. If in doubt, write to us — or book a fitting in Paris.
CAN I TRY A COAT ON?
Yes — fittings in Paris, by appointment, 45 minutes. See the Fittings page; drop weekends are announced to the waitlist first.
WHAT IS THE RED THREAD?
One line of cinnabar stitching down the centre-back seam — on the outside, from collar to hem. Every coat carries it. The red thread is the signature.
WHAT DOES “NUMBERED” MEAN?
Each model is an edition of thirty. Your coat's number is written by hand in Paris and recorded in its passport; it can be verified with us at any time.
WHAT IF THE COAT IS DAMAGED YEARS LATER?
Lifetime visible repair, free. We mend with the same cinnabar thread — the repair is meant to be seen. Details on Care & Repair.
CAN I RETURN A COAT?
The deposit is refundable until sewing starts. Finished coats carry the statutory 2-year garantie légale; terms of return are on the Terms page.
CAN I ADD INITIALS?
Yes — initials in red thread, free, requested at pre-order.
