PRIVACY
Short version: we collect the minimum — your name and email, and only when you write to us. We keep it in the EU, we never sell it, and you can have it deleted at any time. The full policy is below.
- WHAT
- NAME AND EMAIL — ONLY WHEN YOU SEND A PRE-ORDER REQUEST OR JOIN THE LIST.
- WHY
- TO ANSWER YOU AND MAKE YOUR COAT. NOTHING ELSE.
- WHO ELSE
- NO ONE. NO RESALE, NO AD PIXELS ON THIS SITE.
- HOW LONG
- UNTIL YOUR ORDER IS CLOSED OR YOU ASK US TO DELETE IT.
- YOUR RIGHTS
- ASK FOR A COPY, A CORRECTION OR DELETION — HELLO@MAISONFOLKARD.COM.
WHO WE ARE
Maison Folkard is Agniia Folkard, a sole trader (entrepreneur individuel) based in Paris, France. She is the data controller for this website. Written to: hello@maisonfolkard.com.
Company registration details are added here before the shop opens.
WHAT WE COLLECT
The waitlist: your email address, and the consent you give when you join.
A pre-order: your name and email — and, once the shop opens, the delivery address and order details needed to make and send your coat.
The site: your currency choice, stored in your own browser so the site remembers it. It never leaves your device as an identifier, and we set no advertising or tracking cookies.
WHY, AND ON WHAT BASIS
To reply to you and to prepare or fulfil an order — this is the performance of a contract, or steps taken at your request (RGPD Art. 6.1.b).
To send you drop announcements — only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time (Art. 6.1.a).
To keep invoices — a legal obligation (Art. 6.1.c).
WHO ELSE SEES IT
Only the services that run the house on our behalf, under contract and on our instructions: our email provider and our web host; and, once the shop opens, the payment and shipping providers needed to complete your order.
We never sell your data, never share it for advertising, and place no ad-tracking pixels on this site.
WHERE IT IS KEPT
We keep your data in the European Union wherever possible. If a provider processes data outside the EU, we choose one that offers the safeguards European law requires.
HOW LONG WE KEEP IT
Order data: for the life of your order, plus the period French law requires us to keep invoices.
Waitlist: until you unsubscribe — every email carries a one-click unsubscribe.
YOUR RIGHTS
Under the RGPD you can ask to see, correct, delete, limit or receive a copy of your data, and object to a use of it; you can withdraw consent at any time. Write to hello@maisonfolkard.com.
If you are not satisfied, you can complain to the CNIL, the French data-protection authority (cnil.fr).
COOKIES
This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. It stores one thing in your browser — your currency choice — so the site remembers it; that stays on your device.
If we ever add visitor analytics, we will use a privacy-first, cookieless tool and ask first where the law requires it.
